I realize that I have been SERIOUSLY slacking in the blogging department. Unfortunately, between the new internet monitoring at work, the end of baseball season closing with the Tigers and Cubs both in playoff peril, the Pumpkin Festival, and the girlfriend, blogging has taken a back seat. Actually, I would call it more of a trunk than a back seat. My blog is hanging out with the dead whores under the hatch.
The last month of my life has been absolutely unbelievable. Beth has made me happier than I can ever remember being. More than one person has told me that I seem like a totally different guy, and it’s definitely a change for the better. We feel like we’ve known each other forever; almost as if we were together in a past life. It just feels like a perfect fit. I’m not normally the mushy type. I’m the “love doesn’t exist, don’t get close, etc.†guy. Well, we’re very, very close, and I’m in love, so there that goes.
The Pumpkin Festival. While not as exciting (read stupid) as years past, it was still quite a lot of fun. It was so much fun on Wednesday night that I was an hour late for work on Thursday. When I arrived at work on Thursday, one of my ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS coworkers who I ABSOLUTELY hate had turned everything on my desk upside-down or backwards and placed a pink slip on my keyboard. When I saw this, I told her she was “fucking hilarious†and to “eat shitâ€. Unfortunately, the owner of the company and the sweetest woman in the world was sitting right on the other side of my cubicle wall. Thursday was not a fun day.
On Saturday night, we went back for a couple of hours. The plan was to leave and go back to Brando’s parents’ house for a fire. I went to my house to get a hoodie, and I definitely passed out. It’s the first time I can remember being in bed at 12:20 on a Saturday night in a VERY long time. It was kind of nice to get up at 10:30 the next day and not be dead tired. Beth and I spent most of Sunday together, so I went to bed that night a happy man.

Dick. That fire sucked by myself. I put it out about a half hour after I started it.

Sorry, chief. I only have to do that about 300 more times before we’re even. Passouty McPassouterson from Passoutville.

Let this be a lesson to all you young bloggers out there: Girls are bad for blogging.
Seriously, I’m happy for you.
Is she, like, blind or sumthin’?
